About
Half-day experience is 3 ½ hours involving various species of birds including one Eagle. The session will involve flights with the owl and hawk, before moving onto an encounter with a Falcon, Kite or Caracara according to the weather. The session will conclude with flying an eagle, when the eagle is in the correct place and height, the signal will be given and the bird will stoop at great speed to land on your gloved hand.
Throughout your falconry experience, you will be taught about the birds’ behavior and how each bird carves a living in its natural home.
Itinerary
Meet at 9.45 am for a 10am start.
10am – 1.30 pm – Flights with various birds of prey.
Depart from 1.30 pm.
Hospitality
Options for lunch to be discussed on the WhatsApp group prior to the event. Please note there are no facilities at the center. The facilities at nearby Cluny Activities can be used.
