Bywell Shooting Ground is a family ran, clay pigeon shooting business offering first-rate clay shooting experiences including tuition, world class events and an incredibly well-stocked gun shop. Known as one of the best shooting grounds in the North East, Bywell provides professional service and expertise on gun fit, accessories, coaching, and all other aspects of shooting. Our tuition day will be for those ladies looking to either pick up a gun for the first time or for those wanting to gain confidence under expert tuition. The day will include stand-out hospitality throughout and is the perfect day for those wanting to meet local like-minded women.
9.15 arrive, tea, coffee, and bacon sandwich.
9.30 / 9.45 Welcome brief and split into groups of four.
10.00 out onto the ground to shoot 25 practice with your Coach
11.30 Back to the clubhouse for tea, coffee and biscuits
12.00 back to the shooting layout to shoot 25 competitions with your Coach. (shoot off if needed for high gun)
13.00 Two-course lunch, eg pie and veg, lasagne and salad, try bake with cream or custard, or something similar.
14.00 All teams of four out to shoot two 100 clay flushes.
15.30 – 16.00 Return to the clubhouse for tea, coffee and prize giving.
We will provide a small prize for the high gun for the morning sporting and a prize for the winning flush team.
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
If ladies wish to bring their own guns, cartridges will be provided for 12 and 20-bore but no other.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
If ladies wish to bring their own guns they can do so.
All areas can be walked around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed.
Smart/ casual but most importantly practical and comfortable, depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
