About
Claydon Estate is one of the most picturesque estates, set within 5000 acres of rural Buckinghamshire. Using the topography of the land to its advantage, Claydon’s newest head keeper has created the perfect range of simulated high pheasant drives alongside phenomenally low and fast partridge. Come and experience the very best of this well thought out simulated day. The topography of the land has really been used to its advantage to create a vast range of simulated quarry throughout.
Pegs
Pegs are split based on experience levels and shotgun gauges to optimise safety. Each drive is repeated twice so both partners have the opportunity to shoot and load, this maximises shooting and enhances everyone’s experience.
Cartridges
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all. Cartridges can be provided for you by our team, please make sure you let us know beforehand as this will be an additional cost.
Gun hire
Is available but please let us know on booking if this is required as it may be an additional charge.
Transport
All transport for the day will be included by the estates gun bus.
Hospitality
Hospitality of the day includes being greeted in the courtyard with bacon and sausage sandwiches as well as tea and coffee alongside the main Claydon house. After the first drive, elevenses will be supplied including refreshments and canapés by the estate’s first-class caterers who will also provide a beautiful lunch after the final drive of the day.
(Subject to change due to COVID)
