Located in Derbyshire, Doveridge shooting ground hosts some of the best shooting competitions in the UK and is a premier plus shooting ground. Partnered up with an incredible team of Doveridge instructors and David Beardmore Shooting. Our beginner’s day promises to be the perfect environment for those picking up a gun for the first time or those wanting to iron out any early issues. You will be taught how to hold the gun and safety and then have a go at shooting some clays. You may be looking at improving your shooting and getting some extra advice, tuition days are great fun and really useful, you will meet some fantastic ladies for the most enjoyable day.
09:30am Welcome breakfast including tea & coffee, bacon rolls, and a short briefing
10:00am Split off into 4 groups of 4 with one APSI / CPSA qualified shooting instructor per group including former world champion and England Shooting Team Captain David Beardsmore
One hour and a half of clay shooting in small groups
11:30am Refreshment break with Biscuits, tea and coffee.
12:00am One hour of clay shooting in small groups
01:00pm Two-course lunch in the clubhouse with refreshments
2:00pm One hour of clay shooting in small groups – 50-bird competition
3:30pm – Presentation with tea, coffee, and cake.
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
If ladies wish to bring their own guns, cartridges will be provided for 12 and 20-bore but no other.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
If ladies wish to bring their own guns they can do so.
All areas can be walked around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed.
Smart/ casual but most importantly practical and comfortable, depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
