At The Driven Clay Co we specialise in Simulated Game shooting. With over 50+ years of combined experience in the clay shooting industry, Driven Clay Company are one of the only companies in the UK that have the infrastructure, expertise and confidence to host a successful event away from home soil. With hand-picked event staff to suit, we’re not only qualified, safe and reliable but we’re fun to work with too!
You’ll arrive at the prestigious Wyresdale Park Estate at 9 am, where we all will meet in the Applestore Cafe for a pre-ordered breakfast. The menu is substantial from a hearty full English, Eggs Royale or Benedict through to Pancakes or Cheese on Toast… and many more options in between! There you’ll meet Graham, our APSI, CPSA and BACS-qualified coach, gunsmith, shotgun safety officer and first aider, although it’s likely you’ll hear him before you see him. His laugh is infectious! Graham will run through the order of the day, take any questions and then lead the charge in a vehicle convoy 5 minutes down the road to the first of 2 drives.
The event is fully catered throughout the day and W/C facilities are available at Wyresdale Park and the first 2 drives.
We will then head to our upper moorland venue which is a 4-minute drive. 4X4 vehicles are preferable as we can get close to the pegs, although they are not essential as quality parking is available. After you’ve shot your hearts out on the last drive, we will retire back to Wyresdale Park where you can kick off your boots, remove the layers and relax over a light lunch of homemade soup and a selection of sandwiches.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots, please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all. Cartridges can be provided for you by our team, please make sure you let us know beforehand as this will be an additional cost.
Is available but please let us know on booking if this is required as it may be an additional charge.
4x4s are required however, this can be organised within the group chat before the event.
Smart/ casual but most importantly, comfortable and practical. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
