Full-Day Simulated Game Shooting Experience – Drummond Estate, Perthshire

Set in the breathtaking Perthshire countryside, this full-day simulated game shooting experience offers an exhilarating and immersive sporting adventure for both seasoned guns and those new to the sport.

Hosted at the historic Drummond Estate, this experience includes five unique drives, each set in different locations, offering a challenging and varied day in the field. With around 5,000 clay targets released throughout the day, participants will experience the thrill of a traditional game shoot while enjoying outstanding hospitality and stunning scenery.

With a dedicated team on hand, this event is open to all abilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable day, whether you’re refining your skills or discovering the sport for the first time.

Itinerary – A Full Day of Simulated Game Shooting

9:00 AM – Arrival & Breakfast at Drummond Estate
- Meet at the estate’s historic stone-built hall
- Enjoy a bacon roll with tea & coffee
- Safety briefing and introduction from the shoot captain
9:45 AM – Morning Shooting Session (Three Drives)
- First & second drives – Woodland & open ground shooting
- Mid-morning break with light snacks & refreshments
- Third drive before heading back for lunch
12:30 PM – Lunch at the Estate Hall
- Home-cooked meal served in front of an open fire
1:30 PM – Afternoon Shooting Session (Two Drives)
- Continue the thrill of simulated game shooting
- Experience a variety of drives designed to challenge all skill levels
3:30 PM – Return to the Estate Hall for Afternoon Tea
- Freshly baked cakes with tea & coffee
- Relax and reflect on the day’s shooting

Accommodation

For those looking to stay over, accommodation is a popular option on our shoots and can be arranged in the group chat before the event. Your host will help find the perfect Airbnb, making it a great opportunity to relax, get to know each other, and enjoy a meal together the night before. Local ladies are also welcome to join us for the evening meal if they fancy making a night of it! It’s the perfect way to experience a CGUK Sim Day—turning it into a full weekend of fun!

Cartridges

No plastic wads are permitted on any CGUK shoots. If you don’t have access to suitable cartridges, don’t worry—our team can provide them for you at an additional cost. Please let us know in advance if you need any.

Gun Hire

Gun hire is available throughout the day for an additional cost.

Transport

4x4s are required for this shoot. Car sharing can be arranged in the group chat before the day.

Dress Code

Smart-casual, with weather considerations. Final decisions can be discussed in the group chat before the event.

Please note: A cap, ear protection, and eye protection MUST be worn at all times while on the peg during a Simulated Game Day.
