Clay Shooting Experience in the Beautiful Essex Countryside
Join us for an exhilarating Simulated Clay Shooting experience at the stunning Orsett Estate, set in the heart of the Essex countryside—just 25 minutes from London. Essex Country Sports will guide you through an exciting course, offering a variety of challenging clays to test your skills and keep you on your toes. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or new to the simulated game shoots, this is the perfect way to unwind after a long week and kickstart your weekend with a thrilling outdoor adventure.
Itinerary:
• 5:00 PM – Arrival & Safety Briefing
• 5:30 PM – Shooting Begins (3 exciting drives)
• BBQ Feast – Wrap up the evening with a delicious BBQ and great company

For those looking to stay over, accommodation is a popular option on our shoots and can be arranged in the group chat before the event. Your host will help find the perfect Airbnb, making it a great opportunity to relax, get to know each other, and enjoy a meal together the night before. Local ladies are also welcome to join us for the evening meal if they fancy making a night of it! It’s the perfect way to experience a CGUK Sim Day—turning it into a full weekend of fun!
No plastic wads are permitted on any CGUK shoots. If you don’t have access to suitable cartridges, don’t worry—our team can provide them for you at an additional cost. Please let us know in advance if you need any.
Gun hire is available throughout the day for an additional cost.
4x4s are required for this shoot. Car sharing can be arranged in the group chat before the day.
Smart-casual, with weather considerations. Final decisions can be discussed in the group chat before the event.
Please note: A cap, ear protection, and eye protection MUST be worn at all times while on the peg during a Simulated Game Day.
