Kennett simulated game day is located in the beautiful Kennett Valley, just a short drive from Marlborough. Here you will shoot a number of stunning drives, simulating a mixture of Pheasant, Partridge, Woodcock, Pigeon, and Grouse. The outline of the plan for the day is shown below. We will meet at 9:15 am in the car park at The Bell At West Overton, then travel on to the shoot for Bacon Rolls and Coffee in the Shoot Hut, before heading out to the first drive. The morning drives are broken up with an Elevenses break at The Shoot Hut, we then return back there for Lunch and again at the end of the day for Tea & Cake. The topography of the land at Kennett allows for a day of truly challenging clays and a lot of laughs.
Pegs are split based on experience levels and shotgun gauges to optimise safety. Each drive is repeated twice so both partners have the opportunity to shoot and load, this maximises shooting and enhances everyone’s experience.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all. Cartridges can be provided for you by our team, please make sure you let us know beforehand as this will be an additional cost.
Is available but please let us know on booking if this is required as it may be an additional charge.
Transport is not provided on this shoot. You will need 4×4 to get around. Our ladies can car share (COVID-19 depending) and this can be discussed in the group chat.
This day includes full hospitality. Breakfast will include bacon rolls, tea and coffee. Elevenses will proceed 2 drives which include homemade cheese Straws, homemade Chocolate brownies, sloegasms, soft drinks, Tea and Coffee in the Shoot Hut. Lunch includes a 2 course meal at the Pub (Main & Dessert, there is a set menu which guests choose from at breakfast) with a complimentary drink. Another two drives will be shot and then the guns will return to the shooting hut for tea, coffee and home made cake.
