Lockstock was founded as a shooting coaching company 12 years ago. Agriculture was the backbone of Murray’s career as he worked as an operator here in Scotland and overseas. He recognized that his experience in agriculture could also be another branch for his small company and started taking on photography commissions, with stunning results. Lockstock offers 3 main sim day packages which all benefit from one major theme, allowing you to shoot over 5-6 drives with the exact same target count. Our computer-controlled flush sequence traps ensure the same amount of clays is sent over each drive.
8.50 Arrive at the Bothie to be met by your LSS host.
Our team will serve a light breakfast of continental pastries and fruit, along with hot drinks. Toilet facilities are available in the bothie
9.30 Teams depart in their own 4×4’s with their LSS host for the first drive
9.45 – 11.20 Drives 1 & 2 are high pheasant drives from real game flushing points
11.30 Elevenses served in the field which normally includes our in-house home made soups, finger foods and complimentary refreshments.
12.00 Drive 3 – a fast partridge driven partridge drive
12.45 Drive 4 – a high pheasant drive in the heart of the estate
13.30 Afternoon refreshments served by our LSS host
14.00 Drive 5 – a mid-height pheasant and fast partridge drive. This is a firm favourite with our teams
15.30 Drive 6 (optional at the discretion of the shoot coordinator) a fast high pheasant drive
Firesale – Everything must go! Rather than empty the traps of unsent clays, our teams are invited to shoot as a full line with the system set to flurry mode until the traps are empty. A great end to the day.
16.30 or earlier Back to the bothie for homemade lunch served by our team with some complimentary drinks
Our teams normally shoot 5 drives but if we are running ahead of time a 6th is added to ensure you get a full day. If only 5 drives are to be shot (we can tell this by the half way mark), the birds from drive 6 will be added to 4 and 5 ensuring your team gets their full value from the day.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots, please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all. Cartridges can be provided for you by our team, please make sure you let us know beforehand as this will be an additional cost.

4x4s are required however, this can be organised within the group chat before the event.
You will be well looked after, with elevenses set in the most idyllic scenery. Lunch consists of a hearty meal, with a pudding of course!
