Manchester Clay Shooting Club Worsley has been open for in excess of 25 years. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and set in over 400 acres of picturesque woodlands. It is known as the premier shooting ground in the North West run by an extremely dedicated team of friendly staff and professional instructors. Manchester has been under the direction of David Lloyd who has represented Great Britain and England at Clay Pigeon Shooting since 1979. The woodland surrounding the ground enables them to use the landscapes for a variety of natural clay targets for beginners, intermediate and experienced shots alike. The ground has an extremely cosy café / clubhouse and a fabulous chef that will cater for all our needs on the day. There is ample parking on site and toilet facilities across the ground. Professional instructors will be on hand all day to guide our ladies through the correct methods and provide tuition on a very professional level enabling the best foundation for our ladies to hit those clays and come away feeling confident in their shooting ability.
10am – Arrival, meet and greet with a warming tea or coffee and a choice of breakfast barm/ toast (sausage, bacon or egg) for breakfast.
10:30am – In-depth safety briefing with each of your instructors in their groups.
10:45am – shooting will commence with each guest enjoying 25 shots with their instructor in their groups.
11:30am – back to the clubhouse for a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits.
12pm – Shoot a further 25 shots in the same groups with their instructor.
1pm – a 100 shot per group rapid fire in your groups as a competition between each group.
2pm – lunch will be served along with tea, coffee, water and orange juice.
2:45pm – simulated flush for all in mixed groups. (100 shots per group of 4).
3:45pm – all guests in the game room for prize giving and reflection of the day.
4pm – Departure
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
If ladies wish to bring their own guns, cartridges will be provided for 12 and 20-bore but no other.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
If ladies wish to bring their own guns they can do so.
All areas can be walked around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed.
Smart/ casual but most importantly practical and comfortable, depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
