Essex Country Sports is a family-run business with the Finnis brothers leading the team. We are 6th generation farmers so the countryside is well and truly in the blood. Food will be provided by the restaurant NOKA, this business is owned by the family and our talented chefs will cook up a storm for you in the field with a menu of your choosing. We will take you round the Orsett Estate in our gun bus, giving many variations of clays over 4/5 drives, keeping you on your toes and making sure you have a fantastic time. We will stop every so often for the all-important refreshments! Including elevenses and lunch. All standards are catered for with the ability to stand helpers with inexperienced shots.
9:00am-9.30am: Meet for a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea or coffee.
10:00am – 12:30pm: Following a safety briefing, we will go on to shoot our first drives.
12:30pm: Elevenses are served in the field where the guns are able to enjoy our stunning views.
1:15pm – 3:30pm: Three more drives take place after elevenses.
3:30pm: Return for a late lunch.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots, please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all. Cartridges can be provided for you by our team, please make sure you let us know beforehand as this will be an additional cost.

Guns are transported around the shoot in our comfortable gun bus. However, for larger parties, one 4×4 may be required.
Guns will have Breakfast on arrival and Elevenses out in the field then after a long, exciting day out in the field you can choose to have a fully catered meal by NOKA, a fine-dining Asian Fusion restaurant, and caterer. If you are not a lover of Asian food, fear not they are also experts in traditional English and French cuisine.
Smart/ casual but most importantly, comfortable and practical. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
