Prestwold Estate spans 2000 acres of picturesque arable land featuring stunning tree belts, three ridges, and lush woodlands along the banks. This working farm releases numerous pheasants and partridges, creating an exhilarating shooting experience. An additional 500 acres of towering woodland surrounding Prestwold Hall and Park offer heart-racing pheasant drives. Shooters will line up in the parkland, enjoying breathtaking views of the hall and countryside.
Itinerary
- 8:30 am: Meet at Prestwold Hall/Hall Barns for coffee and bacon rolls
- Two drives followed by elevenses/light lunch in the field
- Two/three more drives
- Finish the day with a two-course meal and cheese and biscuits
Guns can follow the drives in their vehicles or use the provided gun cart on a 16ft Ifor Williams trailer.
Cartridges
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots, please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all.
Cartridges can be provided for you by our team.
All empty cartridges on the day will be recycled and collected for artistic use.
Gun hire
Is available but please let us know on booking if this is required as it may be an additional charge.
Transport
Gun bus provided by the shoot for all ladies.
Dress code
We like to promote the traditional shooting attire on our game days however tweed is not essential. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
Accommodation
Accommodation can be arranged, this will be discussed in the group chat before the event.
