Raisthorpe Flyers – A Premier Simulated Game Experience

Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, Raisthorpe Flyers delivers an exhilarating simulated game shooting experience that rivals the real thing. Spanning 1,000 acres of diverse terrain, our estate provides exciting and challenging targets for experienced shooters while offering accessible yet thrilling shooting for beginners—all against a backdrop of stunning countryside.

Despite being over twenty miles from the nearest grouse moor, we boast a full line of eight solid stone grouse butts, replicating fast, dynamic grouse shooting, including thrilling pack flushes. Our sunken butts, home to our popular rabbit drive, add another exciting dimension to the day.

We recommend suitable footwear for uneven ground and rough terrain, along with waterproof clothing to ensure comfort throughout the day.

Itinerary

9:15 am – Arrive at Raisthorpe’s custom build tradition shooting lodge for morning coffee and bacon sandwiches
9:30 am – Safety briefing
9:45 am – Depart for First Two Drives
10:00 am – First Two Drives
11:30 am – Morning drinks at the Nest with barbecue light lunch boasting stunning rolling views of the Yorkshire Dales.
12:15 pm – Third and Fourth Drives
1:30 pm – Drinks
2:00 pm – Fifth and Sixth Drives
3:15 pm – Return to Shooting Lodge for Buffet Lunch
4:30 pm – Presentation and pre-departure drinks on Lodge balcony
5:30 pm – Depart

Additional Information

Accommodation

For those wishing to stay over, accommodation is a popular option on our shoots and can be arranged in the group chat before the event. Your host will help find the perfect Airbnb, making it a great opportunity to relax, socialise, and enjoy a meal together the night before. Local ladies are also welcome to join us for dinner if they fancy making a night of it! This is the perfect way to experience a CGUK Sim Day, turning it into a full weekend of fun and camaraderie.

Cartridges are included in the price of the day.

Gun Hire

Gun hire is available on request for an additional cost.

Transport

As 4x4s are required for this shoot, car sharing can be arranged in the group chat before the day.

Dress Code

Smart-casual with weather considerations. Final decisions can be discussed in the group chat before the event.

Safety Note: A cap, ear protection, and eye protection MUST be worn at all times while on the peg during a Simulated Game Day.
