Join us for a hands-on gundog training day at Lanton Hill Farm, nestled in the Scottish Borders, with renowned trainer Joe Hipwell of Sealpin Gundogs.
Joe’s passion for training began with his legendary grandfather, Edward Martin, who produced the first Sealpin FTCh in 1978. Joe has since won trials with four different dogs, represented Scotland in the Gundog Team five times, and served as the main gundog demonstrator at The Scottish Game Fair and The Royal Highland Show. With extensive experience coaching novice handlers, Joe creates a structured yet relaxed environment, ensuring both dogs and handlers progress with confidence.
This training day is perfect for beginners and novice handlers, featuring a variety of exercises designed to develop skills, build trust, and enhance teamwork. The day concludes with a friendly low-key competition, giving everyone a chance to apply their training in a supportive setting.
