Testside Lake, once home to Spedan Lewis’ renowned wildfowl collection, was excavated in 1997 and transformed into the two stunning lakes that now make up the Testside Fishery. Stocked with Rainbow and Brown Trout, some reaching double figures in weight, this exclusive fishery offers a premium fishing experience, with access limited to just six anglers per day.

Leading the day is Marina Gibson, a certified FFI casting instructor, professional guide, and passionate conservationist. In 2019, she founded the Northern Fishing School at Swinton Estate in North Yorkshire, where she teaches over 400 people a year the art of fly fishing. She is also the co-founder of the Cancer and Pisces Trust, a charity that uses angling as a therapeutic tool for cancer sufferers, fostering connections with nature and community.
Marina’s passion for fishing has taken her around the world, and she has built a global following of over 160K, inspiring more people to embrace the outdoors. As she prepares to welcome her first baby in March, Marina will be joining the day with her baby in tow, supported by a strong team of expert instructors, ensuring every participant receives high-quality tuition throughout the event.
