More than just cowboy boots and Stetsons, Western riding is a unique and popular discipline that’s gaining momentum in the UK. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced rider, this immersive Western Experience Day will give you the chance to ride, learn, and have fun in a friendly and supportive environment.
With expert tuition from UKCC-qualified instructors David & Sarah Deptford and Olivia Lochhead, you’ll develop your Western riding skills, practice lassoing, and enjoy great hospitality—all while experiencing the charm of Quarter Horses.
Weight Limit: 14 stone (beginner/novice), 15 stone (experienced)
First-time riders must complete a 1-hour lesson before the experience day

1:00 PM – Lassoing Lesson
Learn the art of lassoing from our expert instructors.
1:30 PM – Meet the Foals
Visit our Quarter Horse foals in the fields.
2:00 PM – Afternoon Riding Session
Group 2 (6 riders) will have their 1-hour Western riding lesson.
3:30 PM – Afternoon Tea & Cake
Unwind with tea, coffee, and cake as we wrap up the day.
4:00 PM – Finish
