About
Wrekin Sporting uniquely offers the chance to shoot both Grey and Red-legged partridge. It evokes the glory days of driven partridge shooting; small fields and high hedges, deliberately managed to allow coveys to burst across the line testing the confidence and ability of all guns. With 90 acres of game and forage crops as well as swathes of overwinter stubbles this is true partridge territory. Their Chinese and Kansas pheasants are renowned for their high flying and are shown from a number of game crops and incredibly traditional woodlands across the farm. Their days providing an absolutely fantastic environment for a 50:50 split mixed bag.
Pegs
We split all our pegs based on experience levels and shotgun gauges to ensure that all individuals have the best time on our shoots but most importantly everybody is safe.
Cartridges
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all. Cartridges can be provided for you by our team, please make sure you let us know beforehand as this will be an additional cost.
Gun hire
Is available but please let us know on booking if this is required as it may be an additional charge.
Transport
Transport is provided in the form of the shoot’s gun trailer and guns are requested not to use their own vehicles on the day.
Hospitality
Guns will receive coffee on arrival followed by elevenses after the morning drives including both exquisitely prepared canapés and refreshments. The day will the concluded after five or six drives depending on the bag with supper in the beautifully traditional farmhouse.

Dress code
Smart, we like to promote the traditional shooting attire on our game days however tweed is not essential. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
