It is of benefit to the customer to give the CGUK team as much notice as possible when canceling an event ticket in order for the ticket to be resold and the refund to be received.
This can be done by emailing admin@thecountrygirlsuk.com giving details of the customer name, event date and location.
Once a space has been canceled, the CGUK team will work hard to promote the resale of the event ticket.
If the ticket is successfully resold to another customer, the CGUK team will refund the customer minus a £10 admin/processing fee.
Yes, we have a coupon code that you can add to your basket at checkout which will half the cost of the event, you can either pay in full when you book or split your cost into two installments whichever you prefer. If one of our events is cancelled due to COVID19 shoot dependant, your money will be credited back to your account or the deposit will be rolled over to next season where you will have a guaranteed place.
Due to the flexibility of our platform, if for whatever reason the shoot is not rolled over to next season, you can switch your deposit over to another shoot. We are here to help you and make your shooting journey easy, we are not here to take your money. If you think this applies to you, please send us an email and we will treat each case individually on info@woocommerce-805809-3654336.cloudwaysapps.com
Yes absolutely, we hold our days for the sole purpose of getting more women into shooting. Our pegs are split between one novice and one experienced shot. If a lady doesn’t have a license, she will be paired with someone that does and is safe to mentor. Similarly, if a more professional mentor/instructor is preferred, that can be arranged, just be sure to let us know well in advance.
Nerves are normal, here at The Country Girls UK we do everything in our power to make your experience with us as relaxing as possible. We organise group chats before the day so all of our ladies can get to know each other and break the ice early on. All preparations for our events are made in here and nerves are eased by the witty banter and contagious enthusiasm. Every single one of our ladies came on one of our days not knowing anybody, you’re not alone! Those very same women have become best friends with so many in the community. Everything happens for a reason!
Yes, on every single one of our days so far, it has been possible to borrow a gun. However, each shoot day is different. Depending on where we are shooting, some shoots offer instruction and gun hire at an extra charge. We also have ladies that have multiple guns on their shotgun certificates and are happy to lend for the day, this will determine peg layout so please inform us before the day if this is you.
Peg partners are decided on a few factors these include; shooting licenses, shooting ability and shotgun gauges. If you want to pair up with somebody you already know that is not a problem at all just make sure you let us know.
‘Where guns and ammunition are transported, they should be hidden from view, preferably in a locked boot. The vehicle should not be left unattended whenever possible and ideally, have an immobilizer and/or alarm fitted. Where guns and ammunition are transported regularly the installation of a lockable container securely bolted to the structure of the vehicles to prevent easy removal by unauthorised persons is strongly recommended. If the vehicle is to be left unattended it will normally be sufficient to remove the trigger and/or end of the gun and for the remainder of the gun and ammunition to be concealed from view in the locked.’ Taken straight from North Yorkshire Police’s firearms security advice page.
