Millride are a family-run country sports business established in 1984 offering Clay Pigeon Shooting, Airgun Shooting, and Coarse Fishing seven days per week. The shooting ground consists of 10 stand sporting, skeet, DTL and Compak.
A fun morning on the clays with several flushes for a mini simulated game day feel, followed by a friendly competition “Shooting Snooker” what is shooting snooker I hear you ask, just like in traditional snooker, there are different coloured clays to be broken.
Each colour represents a different point value, with red being the lowest and colours such as black being the highest. The clays are sent from various traps set at different angles and distances.
This day is perfect for the more experienced ladies out there and is also aimed at those wanting to progress from our tuition days to our simulated game days. The day starts with Bacon Rolls and Coffee in the Clubhouse, before being put in groups and heading out onto the ground to shoot a variety of Flushes & Flurries. Small groups of 5 where you will learn how to load for others and then switch to shoot the same targets, the day will resemble our simulated game days, helping you get prepared for the big days, making sure you know what to expect and hopefully make it feel less daunting!
9.30am Guests arrive for Bacon rolls and Tea/Coffee in the guest house
10.00am head out to shoot some flushes
11.00am Prosecco & Cake
11.30am back out for flushes and friendly competition (snooker)
12.30pm prize giving and depart

Cartridges are not included, you can bring your own or purchase them from Millride

Gun hire is available at an additional cost
If ladies wish to bring their own guns they can do so.
All areas can be walked around the shoot.
Smart/ casual but most importantly practical and comfortable, depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
