If you dream of catching the King of the River, this is your best chance!, this is the best time to catch a Salmon, you will not only get 1 day of fishing but you will get 2 wholes days!

Welcome to the Extreme Salmon Weekend with the option to add a days Surfing, a unique CGUK adventure that brings together river and the ocean in one unforgettable experience. Set across two brilliant locations: Bywell Beat on the River Tyne and Tynemouth Beach, this weekend is designed for women of all abilities, from complete beginners to more confident anglers and surfers.

Across two days you will enjoy two full days of guided salmon fishing on the iconic River Tyne with all rod setups provided, and an optional day of fun, supportive surf lesson on the Northumberland coast. It is the perfect mix of skill building, fresh air, adventure and good laughs.

You will stay for two nights in a cosy B&B, with breakfast included both mornings and a delicious pizza evening on the Friday night and then dinner in the pub on Saturday night (additional cost). With support from our partners YETI, XTRATUF and Fulling Mill, this is set to be a standout and confidence boosting weekend for a group of 6 ladies.

Weekend Itinerary

Friday – Arrival and Welcome

Optional days Surfing at Tynemouth Beach with a delicious meal at Rileys Seafood Shack (additional £50)

Don’t fancy Surfing? No problem!

• Arrive in Humshaugh and check into your B&B 
• Settle in and meet the group
• Pizzas for dinner 
• Relax for the evening or join the girls for drinks

Saturday & Sunday– Salmon Fishing on Bywell Beat

• Breakfast at the accommodation
• Head to Bywell Beat for a full day of guided salmon fishing
• Learn casting, watercraft and salmon tactics suitable for all levels
• Break for lunch on the bank (included)
• Continue fishing until late afternoon
• Return to the accommodation to freshen up
• Group dinner together at a local pub (Saturday evening only – not included)
