Celebrate the season in true countryside style with a day of fresh air, festive fun, and creative flair! Join us for our Yorkshire Festive Shoot, Lunch & Wreath Making — a relaxed and welcoming event designed to bring like-minded women together for a memorable day out.
Whether you’re a seasoned member of CGUK or joining us for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect, unwind, and get into the Christmas spirit. You’ll also get the chance to meet Ellie Smith, our Yorkshire Regional Ambassador, and hear more about exciting events coming up in the region.
The Day’s Festive Line-Up:
11:00 AM – Arrival & Welcome
Kick things off with a warm welcome over coffee and festive nibbles.
11:30 AM – Shooting Sessions Begin
Choose from:

50-Bird Sporting Mini Competition (for experienced shots – non-license holders welcome, but no instructors provided)
-
15-Bird Instructor-Led Session (perfect for beginners – max. 4 per group)
All clays, cartridges, and gun hire included for tuition sessions.
1:00 PM – Seasonal Lunch
Enjoy a delicious, warming festive lunch in a cozy setting — the perfect chance to refuel and socialise after the shoot.
2:00 – 4:00 PM – Wreath Making Workshop
Get creative with Hannah & Devorah as they guide you through making your own beautiful Christmas wreath.
All materials and tools are provided — just bring your festive spirit!
We’ll round out the afternoon with mulled wine (non-alcoholic options available), warm mince pies, and plenty of festive refreshments to keep the cheer going.

Coming on your own? You Won’t Be the Only One!
No worries at all, many of our ladies attend solo, and they always leave with new friends. We’re a warm, welcoming group, so think of us as friends you just haven’t met yet. 💫
WhatsApp Group Chat
We’ll set up a WhatsApp group before the event so you can start connecting with the other attendees. It’s a great space to introduce yourself, chat about the event, organise where to meet, and even plan a post-event meal if you fancy it!
Dress Code
Smart casual is perfect and if you’re feeling festive, Christmas jumpers are totally welcome (but optional!). The final decision on outfit vibes can be agreed in the group chat closer to the day.
