The half-day is based at Barbury Shooting School and is aimed at those wanting to progress from our tuition days to our simulated game days. The day starts with Bacon Rolls and Coffee in the Clubhouse, before being put in groups and heading out onto the ground to shoot a variety of Flushes & Flurries. Small groups of 8 where you will learn how to load for others and then switch to shoot the same targets, the day will resemble our simulated game days, helping you get prepared for the big days, making sure you know what to expect and hopefully making it feel less daunting! The day can then finish in the local pub for a big lunch if ladies wish, this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
09:30am – Guests arrive for Bacon Rolls & Coffee in The Clubhouse
10:00am – Split into groups and head out to shoot Flushes
11:15am – Elevenses break back at The Clubhouse
11:45am – Back out for more Flushes
12.30pm – Prize Giving & Depart
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
If ladies wish to bring their own guns, cartridges will be provided for 12 and 20-bore but no other.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
If ladies wish to bring their own guns they can do so.
All areas can be walked around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed.
Smart/ casual but most importantly practical and comfortable, depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
