Set in the gorgeous rolling hills of Cumbria, Black grove sporting has been built and designed by shooters for shooters. Capitalising on the natural topography of the land the incredibly steep hills and tall woodlands allows for an extreme day of simulated clay shooting recreating the very best of each individual quarry. All catering throughout the day uses only the very best of British game to create a mouth-watering all-round experience at Black Grove. Promising to be an exceptional day Black Grove is not one to be missed this season with a mind whopping 9000 clays you will not be short of target practise.
Pegs are split based on experience levels and shotgun gauges to optimise safety. Each drive is repeated twice so both partners have the opportunity to shoot and load, this maximises shooting and enhances everyone’s experience.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all. Cartridges can be provided for you by our team, please make sure you let us know beforehand as this will be an additional cost.

This day includes full hospitality created by the Incredible Alice Wootton. The day starts with bacon butties and pastries with warm tea or coffee. After a few drives, the guns return for elevenses which includes a range of cheese and meat selections using salamis from Wild Game Meat Ltd, along with incredibly bespoke canapés using the very best of game meat. After a few more drives lunch will be served which usually consists of marinated fallow and pigeon or venison burgers. The day will then be concluded with locally made brownies.
Smart/ casual, we like to promote the traditional shooting attire on our days however tweed is not essential. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
