DUE TO STORM CIARAN WE TOOK THE DECISION TO KEEP OUR LADIES AND THE PEOPLE ON THE SAFE AND REARRANGED A NEW DATE FOR THIS DAY – NEW DATE IS 17TH JANUARY
A dedicated sporting estate first listed in the Domesday Book. Colquite Estate is family owned and run, the estate is largely mature hardwood, located in beautiful North Cornwall nestled on the edge of Bodmin Moor. As a result of this location, the deep, wood lined valleys, cut by the River Camel, lead to some very testing birds.
This is a fabulous estate focused on the guns requirements, challenging sport and first class hospitality
At an extra cost the shoot can provide excellent accommodation pre or post shoot
Itinerary
8.30 am arrival and light bite with Tea/Coffee drawing of pegs and safety brief
9.30 am head out for first drive – transported by estate transport
After further drives elevenses will be enjoyed in the field to include Champagne (and sloe gin made on the estate), spicy meatballs, foie gras on biscuits amongst other nibbles. Back on to the drives before returning for a sumptuous meal prepared by our in house chef in the shoot lodge.
*An option for a loader/instructor which will be £150
*All ladies need to be experienced shots, no loan of guns available.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots, please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all.
Cartridges can be provided for you by our team.
All empty cartridges on the day will be recycled and collected for artistic use.
Is available but please let us know on booking if this is required as it may be an additional charge.
All transport for the day will be included by the estate’s gun bus.
We like to promote the traditional shooting attire on our game days however tweed is not essential. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
