Leck Hall Estate, covers 1800 acres on low and high ground on the borders of Lancashire, Cumbria and North Yorkshire. The shoot is located in the stunning hills approximately 3 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The current shoot has been on the estate for 11 years, and in that time has developed the grounds from traditionally driven pheasants, to what is now some of the top Red-Leg Partridge drives on the moor edge in Cumbria. An incredibly well-known family-run shoot, Leck is one not to be missed.
On a typical day, guns meet at the Gun Room from 8.45-9.00 am for coffee. After a briefing, we will drive up to our high ground, leave the vehicles for the day and travel on foot with a short walk between our drives. Guns and Cartridges go on our ATV, so there’s nothing to carry! Guns would normally shoot 4/5 drives in the day, with drinks breaks and elevenses in between. At the end of the day return to the Gun Room for more food and drinks, before departing around 5 pm.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots, please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all.
Cartridges can be provided for you by our team, please make sure you let us know beforehand as this will be an additional cost.
Is available but please let us know on booking if this is required as it may be an additional charge.
Once parked the shoot is accessed on foot with guns and cartridges being transported in the shoots ATV.
Full hospitality throughout the day is included. Morning coffee on arrival, drinks breaks and elevenses in between drives and food and drinks to end the day back at the gun room.
Smart/ casual, we like to promote the traditional shooting attire on our days however tweed is not essential. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
