Littleton shoot is a magnificent shooting experience set over 3000+ acres in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside, boasting over 300 acres of mature woodland. The shoot is situated within easy reach of all amenities, with Penkridge village nearby. It is a long-established shoot with the current syndicate running for over 30 years.
The shoot consists of mixed arable farmland, cover crops, mature woodland and numerous pools providing exciting and testing shooting in all aspects from driven cover crops to fast and furious woodland pheasant shooting.
Here at Littleton we provide excellent driven partridge, pheasant and duck shooting with tailor-made shoot days for all your requirements with an array of over 30 drives to choose from. We are a challenging shoot that runs from September to February.
We are a family-run run friendly shoot offering a warm, enthusiastic and professional service who are passionate about providing you with a quality shooting experience, with two full-time keepers present.
Never been on a game day before? We have an amazing opportunity for 2 Novice ladies who have never been on a game day before to have an instruction on peg with you to guide you through the day. This is at no extra cost on the day, however, if this is your first Game Day then we would ask you to attend a lesson with Cyril at Millride Shooting Ground before this event, information will be emailed to you on booking,
Arrival between 8.30am – 8.45am
Upon on arrival Breakfast, Tea and Fresh Coffee served
Draw for Pegs
Shoot till around 11.00 am when snacks and drinks are provided
Shoot again then till we finish with more drinks etc. until we finish
Back to the house for bbq style food and drinks again
We want a nice relaxed day with plenty of laughter and banter of course.
There are no overages on this day.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots, please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all.
Cartridges can be provided for you by our team.
All empty cartridges on the day will be recycled and collected for artistic use.
Is available but please let us know on booking if this is required as it may be an additional charge.
All transport for the day will be included by the estate’s gun bus.
We like to promote the traditional shooting attire on our game days however tweed is not essential. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event. Christmas fancy dress is necessary as always on our Christmas shoot (Prizes for the best dressed)
