Pretswold estate has 2000 acres of beautiful arable land with incredible tree belting where numerous pheasants and partridges have been released. The estate is a working farm and the ground thrives on the incredible natural topography of the countryside with three ridges running through the estate and woodland along the banks. A further 500 acres of incredibly tall woodland enclosing Pretswold hall and park is home to further pheasant drives that promise to get your heart racing. The pheasants will be flushed over the parkland where guns will be lined accordingly shooting alongside the stunning hall with exceptionally picturesque views.
We have arranged this shoot purposely so ladies can enjoy a full CGUK weekend of fun. Our CGUK ball is located only one hour away from Pretswold Hall. A team of our ambassadors will be shooting on Friday and then heading to the ball at Rushton Hall on Saturday and we would love you to join us.
Guns meet at 8:30 at Prestwold Hall/ hall barns for coffee bacon rolls from there guns have the choice of following around in your own vehicles or there is a gun cart provided it’s on a 16ft iforwilliams trailer.
Two drives followed by elevenses/light lunch in the field then another two/three more drives and finish the day two-course meal and cheese and biscuits.
There are no overages on this day.
No plastic wad on any of our CGUK shoots, please.
If you do not have access to cartridges that isn’t a problem at all.
Cartridges can be provided for you by our team.
All empty cartridges on the day will be recycled and collected for artistic use.

All transport for the day will be included by the estate’s gun bus.
This day includes full hospitality. The day will start with bacon rolls and coffee on arrival in Pretswold hall. Elevenses will include a light lunch and the day will conclude with a 3-course meal including wine, port and cheese.
We like to promote the traditional shooting attire on our game days however tweed is not essential. Depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event. Christmas fancy dress is necessary as always on our Christmas shoot (Prizes for the best dressed)
