Launch of new Women in Shooting events.
After re-launching at The Game Fair, BASC’s Women in Shooting is holding it’s first, member exclusive, events in October. The first event, being held on Saturday 14th October, is a rifle range day at Bisley. The second event is held at the beautiful Swinton Estate and is a simulated Macnab supported by Marina Gibson and her guides at the Northern Fishing School.
All experience levels welcome with full tuition provided, use of equipment and lunch/refreshments.

Nominations are open for the Eat Game Awards 2024! As an added bonus, everyone who submits a nomination will be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to the event.
Welsh gamebird release regulations pushed back by Natural Resources Wales
BASC has welcomed an announcement by Natural Resources Wales (NRW) that is has halted plans to license the release of gamebirds next season.
This follows a huge response by the shooting community to a public consultation that proposed banning the release of pheasants and red-legged partridge as early as next year. The proposals were described as a ban on shooting in Wales by the back-door.
