Crabtree Clay Shoot is a family-run shooting ground-based in the South Lakes, 2 minutes from the M6, Junction 36. The shooting ground stretches over 30 acres of land and boasts over 20 sporting stands, including a simulated grouse butt and pheasant stand, as well as undercover Compac and DTL ranges. Their philosophy is that their ground is always open to everyone, they pride themselves on the friendly and welcoming atmosphere with stunning views and friendly staff that are always on hand to help. The ground was voted the Clay Shooting Magazines North West Favourite Shooting Ground in 2020. Crabtree is the perfect place for picking up a shotgun for the first time or for sharpening up your skills, Crabtree’s instructors will always provide you with the best experience and more importantly advice and instruction to help you reach your shooting goals.

10.00 Split into groups of 4 for 25 clays with full instruction from CPSA qualified instructors
11.00 Break for elevenses
11.30 Back out into groups of 4 to shoot another 25 clays with instructors
12.30 Refreshments
13.00 Flush competition in teams of 4
2.00 Lunch and prize giving to finish the day
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
All areas can be walked to around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed throughout.
The day includes full hospitality, with breakfast to start the day, elevenses and finishing with a late lunch in the shoot bothy above the ground.
