Located in Derbyshire, Doveridge shooting ground hosts some of the best shooting competitions in the UK. Partnered up with an incredible team of Doveridge instructors and David Beardmore Shooting. Our beginner’s day promises to be the perfect environment for those picking up a gun for the first time or those wanting to iron out any early issues. David Beardmore is the former World Champion, England Shooting Team Captain and professional shooting coach. David will be helping our ladies iron out any bad habits they might have on the day. The day involves full hospitality and promises to be a fantastic day for new guns.
09:30am Welcome breakfast including tea & coffee, bacon rolls and a short briefing
10:00am Split off into 4 groups of 4 with one APSI / CPSA qualified shooting instructor per group including former world champion and England Shooting Team Captain David Beardsmore
One hour and a half of clay shooting in small groups
11:30am Refreshment break with Biscuits, tea and coffee.
12:00am One hour of clay shooting in small groups
01:00pm Two-course lunch in the clubhouse with refreshments
2:00pm One hour of clay shooting in small groups – 50 bird competition
3:30pm – Presentation with tea, coffee and cake.
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
All areas can be walked to around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed throughout.
This day includes full hospitality. Greeted on arrival with tea, coffee and bacon rolls guns will arrive at 9:30 am. After breakfast guns will go off shooting where they will have a mid-morning refreshment break with biscuits, tea and coffee. Lunch will include a two-course meal in the clubhouse and the day will end with a small presentation tea, coffee and cake.
