The shooting ground at Wittering Grange is situated around a series of small lakes with areas of woodland and sloping fields. This allows for a wide variety of targets, low and high incomers, fast, long or looping crossers and snap shooting. Due to the terrain, traps can be arranged to produce pretty much any target. We also have a high tower and a platform for fast going away birds that rotates. New butts for our grouse/partridge targets on the hill have just been built, soon to have crossing rabbits added in!
09:30am Welcome breakfast including tea & coffee, bacon rolls and a short briefing
10:00am Gun mount and gun fit session to start the day
11:30am Elevenses
12:00am One hour of clay shooting in small groups
01:00pm Grazing board/buffet style lunch with refreshments
2:00pm After lunch a lesson on gun out of the shoulder and onto the target. Followed by a 25 bird competition.
3:00pm Finish shooting with a 50bird flush in your groups of 4 from the day’s tuition
3:30pm – Presentation with tea, coffee
4pm – Depart
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
All areas can be walked to around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed throughout.
Breakfast on arrival, elevenses and a grazing board/platter for lunch. Tea, coffee and refreshments included.
Smart/ casual, depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
