Rachel is a Charted Physiotherapist specialising in veterinary Physiotherapy. Rachel Qualified from Robert Gordon University with BSc (HONs) Physiotherapy and has worked for a range of NHS and private settings as a Physiotherapist. Rachel then progressed to become an APCAT and RAMP registered Veterinary Physiotherapist. She provides assessments and treatment for horses, dogs and other companion animals to manage chronic conditions, recovery from injury or surgery and achieve optimal function. Rachel has a special interest in working and sporting dogs and helping owners optimise performance and get the best results from their dogs.
This is a day for you ladies to learn about the anatomy of your dog, the importance of keeping their physical health in the best shape for you to get the best work out of them and learn massage and stretching techniques to help them maintain optimal muscle function and recover after a hard days work or training. Refreshments will be provided and you will receive information packs about all you learnt to take home with you.
9:30am Prompt arrival, settle the dogs into the clinic and have an introduction.
10:00am Practical anatomy session learning to identify joints and muscles followed by a warm-up session and massage and stretching techniques for owners
12.30pm Depart for lunch to local cafe / pub if ladies wish.
