Lammermuir Gundogs is located in Lauder in the Scottish Borders, where there is access to plenty of land for the dogs. Set up in 2011, the aim is to achieve the highest possible results, not only from the dog but the handler too. This is achieved through positive training methods as opposed to a more traditional approach. The facility offers a very varied terrain on which to carry out training sessions including moorland, woodland, and water. The day will consist of a mix of training and scurry competitions. There will be 2 trainers which will allow the main group to be split into two smaller groups. The split of the groups will be confirmed once the attendees are known, the groups may be split by dog breed, experience or a more fitting means. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day with coffee/tea on arrival, elevenses, and lunch. Ladies are welcome to bring more than one dog along and switch throughout the day.
