Trek through the parts of the Highlands not usually seen, stunning scenery and total isolation. Being able to take home photographs of the scenery and wildlife that your friends who have been coming to Scotland for years will be envious of. Pony trekking in Cougie is a wonderful experience for all riders of all abilities. Run by Sasha and Iain, there is so much more to see and do, including there being hens, ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs to feed. There is low level open land or woodland walks where you can try to spot a crossbill or a goldcrest, variety of butterflies and dragonflies. There is a large woodland garden with seats and picnic tables available to be used by visitors. This social event allows ladies to enjoy the scenery and the ability to take your own horse if you wish.

10am Meet
Ladies will be briefed about their horse and given safety helmets (unless you have your own)
We will then head out and trek up the hill to a view point which we should reach by 12pm.
An opportunity to captured beautiful scenery and get plenty of photographs to share from your experience.
At the viewpoint we’re able to stop for a break and have snack that we will provided ourselves, so I’d recommend taking a small rucksack or clothing with pockets for this.
Heading back down to the yard for 2pm
Arrangements for a later lunch/other plans after the ride can be made in the group chat before the event.
