Set in natural woodland surrounded by absolutely breath-taking scenery and established for over 30 years, Rothiemurchus is one of the best clay shooting facilities in Scotland. Our highly experienced and SCTA accredited team of Instructors led by Chief Instructor Jon Henderson will guide you through the thrilling experience of clay target shooting whether you are a beginner, novice or experienced shot. Offering instruction, gun hire, safety equipment and lots of patience, we guarantee that you be breaking targets in no time. If you’ve already had some experience or have your own shotgun, then we can work on improving your skillset and take your shooting to the next level. Join us for our festive Christmas shoot which will be followed by an extremely social Christmas lunch.
9-9.15am meet – Tea and coffee introduction including a safety brief
10am – 4 groups of 4
11am – Break for elevenses with more refreshments & snacks
11.30am – Back out for more professional instruction on different stands.
1pm – Finishing with tea/coffee & prize giving.
Those who wish to attend the Christmas lunch please contact [email protected] , it will be hosted at a country pub close by to Rothiemurchus. On Saturday 9th The CGUK are also organising a Christmas night out, so why not come a long and make a full weekend of Christmas fun!
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
If ladies wish to bring their own guns, cartridges will be provided for 12 and 20-bore but no other.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
If ladies wish to bring their own guns they can do so.
All areas can be walked around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed.
Smart/ casual but most importantly practical and comfortable, depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
