Sporting Targets is situated in the North Bedfordshire countryside, midway between Bedford and Rushden just of the A6. Spread over 40 acres, it is a Clay Shooting Novanna, offering targets for the novice through to the seasoned competition shooter. All instructors are CPSA, APSI or BASC qualified and chosen for their ability to communicate effectively and put novices at ease, to ensure success as well as having a fun and enjoyable time. For the experienced shot, they can and will, help you to conquer that nemesis target not only during your time with them but afterwards when out practicing/competing. The facilities are second to none, with a clubhouse, comfy seating, a bar menu – all food being cooked to order, a restaurant area for groups, as well as a bottle bar selling soft drinks as well as alcoholic beverages. The shop offers customers, the opportunity to browse and buy a selection of country clothing as well as foot wear. We also have a Gun Shop, offering a large variety of shotguns as well as all the accessories and cartridges you would ever need.
09:30am Arrive on-site – welcomed with bacon rolls, tea and coffee.
10:00am Split into 4 groups of four, each with a qualified instructor for an hours clay shooting
11:00am Return to the clubhouse for elevenses
11:30am Return to the range for a further hour of shooting under instruction and guidance of our qualified instructors
12:30pm Time for a sit-down 2-course meal
1:30pm Return one more time to the range for a further hour of shooting to include a small competition
3:00pm approx. return to the clubhouse for tea and coffee and the results of the competition
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
All areas can be walked to around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed throughout.
The day includes full hospitality, with breakfast to start the day, elevenses and finishing with a late lunch in the shoot bothy above the ground.
