County Clays at Dunkeld House Hotel is the largest sporting clay pigeon range in Scotland and home to the highest shooting tower in the country. A SCSTG provider, the clay shooting ground was built in 1990 by the late Sir Reo Stakis who was a keen shot and long time head of Stakis Hotels, the former owners of Dunkeld House Hotel. County clays has over 50 targets to choose from, offering a range between simulated pheasant or to test your eye on a bolting rabbit, it is suitable for all levels of experience. Located in the grounds of Dunkeld House Hotel, the shooting ground is accessible for all major cities including Dundee, Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh. We will begin the day by all meeting and enjoying a warm roll and hot drink before spending our day smashing targets with APSI level 2 qualified instructors.
9.50am: Arrive for breakfast rolls, tea and coffee.
10.30am: Mandatory safety brief and separate into groups. Shoot 40 bird sporting with full APSI instruction.
12.00pm: BBQ or Buffet lunch served at the Shooting Lodge
1.20pm: Back out to the shooting ground for a 30 bird sporting competition with prizes for top shots in each group.
2pm: Final flushes (30 shots left to shoot)
2.45pm: Depart

Cartridges
Cartridges are included throughout this day at no extra cost.
If ladies wish to bring their own guns, cartridges will be provided for 12 and 20-bore but no other.
Gun hire is included throughout this day at no extra cost
If ladies wish to bring their own guns they can do so.
All areas can be walked around the shoot so socially distanced rules can be followed.
Smart/ casual but most importantly practical and comfortable, depending on the weather this can be decided in the group chat before the event.
